The Snapshot Museum is always looking for new material; be it single images or whole collections. Whether found, anonymous or belonging to your family, your photographs will find a good home here. They will become part of a vast collection of Peoples Photography, collectively forming a fascinating visual history of everyday life.

The images will be used in forthcoming exhibitions, and will possibly feature on the website.

If you would like to donate photographs, you can do so either digitally or by post.

To send your photographs digitally…
1. Scan the image as is leaving a space around the outside edge of the actual photograph. Please send pictures 'warts and all', no cropping, adding or removing anything in Photoshop. The wrinkles, marks, creases and tears are all part of the history.
2. Save as a JPEG no bigger than 2MB, using a minimum JPEG compression (high quality).
3. If there is any writing on the back, please scan and send this also.

You can also donate anything snapshot related; from camera equipment through to advertising ephemera.

If you want to send anything by post please e-mail for details.
